Yesterday I bought a new monitor, the Samsung SyncMaster 2493HM. Before this I owned a 19" monitor, which became a bit to small. This new one is 24" an uses a resolution of 1920x1200, which is huge.

At the moment I only have one problem with the monitor and that is the menu. When it is a bit dark in my room, I need a flashlight to see where the buttons are. The other problem is that the buttons are touch sensitive not tactile. The only response that you will get from the buttons is the menu on the screen.

I also started using xmonad again. I like it because it helps to keep your windows in some useful place. I can edit my files and look at the webapp and the logfiles simultaneously.
